We send our congratulations to our Confirmation candidates and our First Communion class who made their sacraments in April. A sincere thank you to Bishop Reiss for his inspirational words and also to Tom and Kathy Beaudoin for taking these great class photos and supplying all the families with a complimentary 8×10. We also wish to recognize the 7th and 8th graders who took part in the Passion Play.

Happy 70th Birthday, St. Valentine Parish
Bishop Arturo Cepeda received a warm welcome from the parishioners of St. Valentine on April 22nd when he arrived to celebrate 5 o’clock Mass commemorating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the parish. Joining Bishop Cepeda were Fr. Tom Belczak and Fr. Tim Laboe, former pastors at S
t. Vals., along with Fr. Henry, Fr.Socorro and Deacon Lawrence Toth.
St. Valentine Anniversary Party
After the celebration of Mass parish members, past and present, gathered in the gym to dine and party to a 70’s theme and participate in a silent auction. I think we can safely say that a good time was had by all.
It was a most joyful birthday celebration!

Doors open at 6:00 pm, soup is served at 6:30 pm and the speaker or video series begin at 7 pm.
Desserts Needed – If you can donate a dessert for our Soup Supper it would be greatly appreciated! Desserts may be dropped off at the Parish Office on March 29th between the hours of 9 am and 11:30 am and 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Or you may bring them to the gym after 5:00 pm.
