A record number of  magical hands came and transformed our campus on Saturday, May 10th. A HEARTFUL thank you to Kris Brake, Mike Stack, Akil Copeland, Keith Vega, Dan Brake, Mike Bean, Bob Rybka, Nancy Burger, Carol Walsh, Barbara Cunningham, Betty Bezrutch, Nancy Curtin, Lou Wysocki, Bob Fenstemaker, Mike Stack, Karl Koeing, Bill Pace, John Rini, Stuart Mair, Bob MacDonell, and Jack Leich III. Twelve flats of flowers and 13 yards of mulch were generously donated, and masterfully distributed. Once again, Bushel Mart, on 7 Mile, gave us a great deal on the mulch. Please tell them you are from St. Val’s when you patronize this family owned business. Thank you to Ted Kozlowski for the generous treats and drinks. THANK YOU GOD for the beautiful day. THANK YOU EVERYONE for sharing your time, talents and sweat, allowing God’s glory to be displayed at St. Valentine’s.

Sunday, December 15 was Bambinelli Sunday. It is a tradition initiated by Pope St John Paul II. On this day in Rome, many people bring in their Baby Jesus figures (Bambinelli) to St Peter’s Square to be blessed by the Pope. In our Parish, all were invited to bring their Baby Jesus figures from home or from their Nativity Crib to the Church on this weekend to be blessed by the Priest during Mass and take this Christmas Blessing back to their homes and families.
