The Faith Formation teacher’s, aides and volunteers gathered for a pizza and salad dinner on August 31st. At this time, we were able to catch up with news from our families and summer vacations then settled back for our annual beginning of school meeting. We are ready for our students and welcome our returning and new families.

Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors, Musical Ministers, Sacristans, Servers, and Ushers are all invited to attend a morning of reflection, prayer, and community on Saturday, September 19 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. We will gather to discuss how the different ministry groups impact the parish’s mission and how we help our community further their faith.

St Valentine Parish will be celebrating the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Saturday, September 12th. A procession honoring Our Lady will begin at 5:00 pm with a Mass following. Please join us for a joyful celebration very close to Father Theo’s heart. There will be fellowship after Mass as we honor the birthday of Mary.
A special Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 14th at 5:30 pm in the church to honor the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, body and soul into heaven.
