Please join us Wednesday, March 29th for the final Soup Supper Series here at St. Valentine.

St. Valentine Video—Elements of the Catholic Mass Part II

Doors open at 6:00 pm, soup is served at 6:30 pm and the speaker or video series begin at 7 pm.

Desserts Needed –  If you can donate a dessert for our Soup Supper it would be greatly appreciated! Desserts may be dropped off at the Parish Office on March 29th between the hours of 9 am and 11:30 am and 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Or you may bring them to the gym after 5:00 pm. Thank you for your goodies!

70th Celebration Update

Please be sure to get us your reservations  for the 70th birthday celebration!

Plan on joining us for the 5 pm Mass with Bishop Cepeda as our Celebrant. Afterwards Mass join us for dinner  and the celebration in the gym.

Tickets are $25 a piece and available for purchase. Please send your payment with your reservation. Thank you. You may drop your ticket request and check in the  collection basket in an envelope marked “70th” and we will be sure the Parish Council receives it.  NOTE:  You may download the ticket form right from this page – 2017 70th Anniversary Flier

Silent Auction Items Needed!

Do you have any hobbies or talents? Maybe you have a friend or relative that does. Or maybe you own a business. We are looking for donations for our auction. Lenten Season

The parish theme for Lent this year is “Return To Me“; and throughout the Lenten season, there will be a number of opportunities for parishioners to put the theme into practice. The first opportunity starts with the Lenten booklets the parish makes available for everyone. Pick one up; and use it daily. It’s a great way to spend an easy five minutes a day focusing on the Lord.

In addition to the Lenten booklets, a number of weekly prayer opportunities have also been planned- to help us reflect upon and rekindle our faith; refresh our hearts and souls; strengthen our hope; and develop our spiritual mercies. This Lent, make a commitment to participate in these weekly opportunities; and invite your family members and friends to join you, as we all prepare for the Resurrection.

Wednesday Lenten Soup Suppers

Redford parishes will once again take turns sponsoring Lenten Soup Suppers. Below are the dates for each parish; and all suppers begin at 6:30pm.

March 8: St. John Bosco
March 15: St. Robert Bellarmine
March 22: Our Lady Of Loretto
March 29: St. Valentine Friday

Stations of the Cross

Stations of the Cross will be prayed in our church at 7pm on Fridays. Start Date: March 3rd.   End Date: April 7th

Sunday Evening Prayers

Evening prayers will take place in our school chapel at 5pm on Sundays. Where: In the school Chapel Start Date: March 5 End Date: April 9
