Bishop Arturo Cepeda received a warm welcome from the parishioners of St. Valentine on April 22nd when he arrived to celebrate 5 o’clock Mass commemorating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the parish.  Joining Bishop Cepeda were Fr. Tom Belczak and Fr. Tim Laboe, former pastors at St. Vals., along with Fr. Henry, Fr.Socorro and Deacon Lawrence Toth.

After the celebration of Mass parish members, past and present, gathered in the gym to dine and party to a 70’s theme and participate in a silent auction.  I think we can safely say that a good time was had by all. It was a most joyful birthday celebration!
